Interview with Julian Clary

Outrageous comedian Julian Clary was in Swindon recently to take part in the Swindon Festival of Literature. Listen to our interview.

Comedian Julian Clary is one of Britain's best-loved entertainers - and helped get the 2009 Swindon Literature Festival off to a great start. 'An Audience with....' show was held at the Wyvern Theatre on Monday 4th May.

Julian is a veteran of comedy festivals and a popular panellist on various tv and radio shows. He also memorably appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2004 and as a writer has published three books.

BBC Wiltshire's Ashley Heath sat down with Julian for a chat whilst he was in Swindon and began by asking him why he's involved in the Festival.
