EntertainmentYou are in: Wiltshire > Entertainment > Tough Love ![]() Promotional still from Tough Love Tough LoveThe makers of a new film soon to be shot in Wiltshire are on the look out for local directors, actors and musicans to get involved. Due to be shot in August is the forthcoming feature film Tough Love, a new project from Wiltshire-based film production company, 2B Productions. The 70-minute film will consist of seven separate segments in distinct styles from seven different directors, and each part will be a love story depicting how hard love can sometimes be. At the end and throughout the movie each film will subtly interlink. The finished film will be screened along with several other 2B Productions films towards the second half of the year, as well as hopefully being picked up for the UK festival circuit, with the potential for a DVD distribution. Two of the directors are Darren Barber and Paul Bayley from 2B Productions, who are currently searching for five more exciting directors to take part in the project. ![]() Tough Love logo Darren said: "The film is currently in the pre-production planning stage and there are current crew positions available which we want to fill and get moving with people on. "The film will be shot in HD on the new Sony Z5, and ideally participants will be based in the South West for ease of production." 2B Productions motto is 'Constantly bringing people together through film' and both Darren and Paul pride themselves on working with young, undiscovered, raw acting talent. "As well as crew we are looking for local actors in casting for the film," said Darren. "There has been a huge amount of interest already and there will be quite a few roles available from a lead role to just being an extra. We'd like people to get in touch if they are interested in being on of our actors." Interested parties should be aware that as the film is a low budget film production, participation for both crew and cast will be on a voluntary basis and unpaid. But it will provide a great opportunity for an up-and-coming actor or budding director to add a new credit to their showreel or portfolio. Darren added: "We are also desperately looking for sponsorship for the project who will receive a credit on the 2B Productions website and at the beginning of the film. Anything from an accomodation sponsor - who may be able to offer one or two rooms for people to stay in whilst filming commences or a clothing sponsor for costumes." There may also be a couple of famous faces appearing in the film as Darren teased: "We should have potentially one or two celebrity cameos in the film, one a member of a well known four piece male singing group and one or two known TV actors. But I'm not going to jinx anything and say who!" If you are interested in getting involved with the project, either behind or in front of the camera, visit the Tough Love Facebook group for more information or email Darren via the link below.
