For the past five years, BBC Radio Swindon and BBC Radio Wiltshire have hosted the Darkness to Light Christmas Service, at the Zion Baptist Church in Trowbridge, which will be broadcast on Christmas Eve at 6pm and again on Christmas Day at 10am.

As well as a whole host of presenters and staff from BBC Radio Swindon and BBC Radio Wiltshire, numerous members of the community were involved too. Including James Gray MP, Andrew Murrison MP, Brian Moore, Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police, Chief Fire Officer, of Wiltshire Fire and Rescue, Leader of Wiltshire County Council and many more.
Together with singing from the children of the Stonar School Chamber Choir, Atworth and the Bratton Silver Band belting out Christmas classics, it was a great night.
Congregation singing their hearts out.
As the packed congregation sang their way through a selection of well known Christmas classics, including Hark the Herald Angels Sing and While Shepherds Watched, a real sense of Christmas filled the church.
