Take a tour around Haunted Swindon

A new DVD produced by local ghosthunters Paranormal Site Investigators (PSI) looks at Swindon's 'haunted' buildings. Watch a video clip.

Swindon-based educational charity Paranormal Site Investigators have produced a fundraising DVD called the 'Haunted Swindon Project'.

Throughout 2007 PSI has been co-operating with Swindon Borough Council on the project to promote the town's haunted heritage.

This DVD presents some of their findings so far. The DVD is introduced by noted parapsychologist Dr Simon Sherwood.

Locations

Findings from several locations are reported, including the Wyvern Theatre, Fire Station and Pinehurst Community Centre.

These behind-the-scenes features chronicle the reports of paranormal investigations at these sites.

The DVD includes a tour through Haunted Old Town, stopping at Lawn, Devizes Road, the Arts Centre and elsewhere to examine their history and tales paranormal activity.

Haunted Highworth

Haunted Highworth

Following this is a trip around Haunted Highworth, with highlights including Sally's Cafe, the King and Queen, the Highworth Tunnels and Pentylands lane.

Investigation

The DVD concludes with footage from a scientific and rational ghost investigation of a local 'haunted' building. The reality of paranormal investigation should be a refreshing change from the entertainment programs seen on TV.

The Haunted Swindon DVD can be bought from www.HauntedSwindon.com or by sending a cheque (made payable to 'PSI Charity') for £9.95 (+£1p&p) to PSI, Brooklyn Lodge, Broad Bush, Blunsdon, SN26 7DH.

Alternatively the DVD can be bought from Borders on the Orbital Shopping Park on Thamesdown Drive, as well as other outlets, or rented from the Little Film Shop on Eastcott Hill.

had avery strange experience last night whilst walking my dog in the field at the back of tadpole lane.the hill at the right off eastburyway.pulled my dog in to put her back on her lead and apologised to the gentleman as my dog went down and growled to show her teeth and her hackles were up right down to the tip of her tail he was stood no more than 5 ft. in front of me but all my attention was aimed at my dog as she does have a tendancy to jump up so i only kept him in view out of the corner of my eye.anyway once grabbing my dog and returning her to her lead i then stood up to apologise again and to say that she has never acted like that before(which she hadnt)and to my amazement there was no one there. no where to go field on the left and barbed wire on the right. it was 5.45pm.so relatively dark but that dont explain 0. wonder if anybody else has exp. anything else up on haunted hill as i now refer to it
