On Wednesday, 5th July 2006, they went to Westminster; walked into Tony Blair's private suite, looked him in the eye and demanded to know what he was going to do about making sure children everywhere have a decent education.

The Year Nine pupil's from Greendown in West Swindon reminded the Prime Minister about his G8 education promise by taking along cardboard cut outs of teachers, with letters from the schoolchildren attached.

The visit had been arranged by Swindon South MP, Anne Snelgrove.

We sent our reporter Ashley Heath, complete with packed lunch and note from his wife, to London to join them.
