Interview with Russell WatsonFresh from his triumph on BBC1's hit celebrity duet show Just the Two of Us, Russell 'The Voice' Watson visited the BBC Radio Swindon studios for an interview with Afternoon Show presenter Mark Seaman. Listen online. |

| After just 10 days of rehearsal and a fortnight of live performances, actress Sian Reeves and Russell 'The Voice' Watson triumphed in the BBC1 celebrity singing showdown, Just the Two of Us. In the final show broadcast on Saturday 4th March, the duo saw off their final rivals, Mark Moraghan and Natasha Hamilton, with their rousing rendition of 'Great Balls Of Fire', their country and western vibe in 'Annie's Song' and the rock classic 'I Would Do Anything For Love'. In the week following his win, Russell has been touring the country doing interviews and meeting fans and on Wednesday 8th March dropped in to the BBC Radio Swindon and BBC Radio Wiltshire studios for a chat with Afternoon Show presenter Mark Seaman. He last guested on Mark's show in October 2004. Naturally Just the Two of Us was the main topic of conversation but among other things, Russell also plugged his new album 'The Ultimate Collection' and spoke of his recent successful tour of Japan.

Thank you Mark for letting us know we could listen later to Russell Watson. I tried to stay up last night and listen to you, but in Australia it was getting pretty late.
Throughly enjoyed the interview, lots of fun talk.
Thank You, Jeanette :)
