Howell tees-off in first tour of 2006

On Thursday Wiltshire's David Howell starts his first European tour of 2006 with Abu Dhabi Championship.

Wiltshire's David Howell will start his first European tour event of 2006 on Thursday morning when he tees-off in the first round of the inaugural Abu Dhabi Championship.

The World number 14 gets underway, on Thursday morning, playing alongside Thomas Bjorn and Chris DiMarco.

Howell is currently top of the order of merit having won the HSBC Championship in Shanghai in November.
