Highworth Town is confident the club will win promotion once impovements are made to their ground...

Officials at Highworth Town are confident that the club will, next season, be in a position to win promotion to the Southern League.

After securing a grant for £30,000, from the Football Stadia Improvement Fund, the club is planning a new 150 seater stand, disabled toilets and changing room improvements.

Chairman Fraser Haines is keen for the team to rise up the non-league pyramid:

"We're looking to improve our facilities.  The seating stand we've got at the moment, all the seats will be taken out and we're going to have two 75 seater stands either side.

"It's a big improvement for the spectators because obviously we do get good crowds."
