Therapy? to play Swindon

The veteran Irish alt-rock trio are to play The Furnace in Swindon on Friday 22nd April.

If you were an alternative music fan in the mid-90s you could'nt have failed to have been aware of Irish trio Therapy?

The band clocked up numerous Top 20 hits between 1992-95, most notably 'Teethgrinder', 'Nowhere' and 'Screamager' taken from their 'Short, Sharp, Shock' EP.

They also flew the flag for the UK alt-rock scene in the wake of the Seattle grunge onslaught that hit our shores at the time.

Although their chart success didn't last, the band which consists of Andy Cairns (vocals-guitar), Michael McKeegan (bass) and Neil Cooper (drums) are still going strong and their eleventh album 'Never Explain, Never Apologise' was released in 2004.

As part of their forthcoming European tour, the band are playing a gig at Swindon's Furnace nightclub on Friday April 22nd. Tickets are priced at £10 in advance and can be obtained from the venue or the neighbouring Rolleston public house.
