Caroline Munro
Caroline Munro in Swindon

Interview with Caroline Munro

The Hammer Horror and James Bond actress recently visited Swindon. Listen to our interview.

Caroline Munro was one of the pin-ups of the 70s having found fame as the beauty in numerous television adverts for Lambs Navy Rum.

She also appeared alongside legendary actors such as Christopher Lee, Vincent Price and Peter Cushing in some of the most famous British horror films of the age  including Dracula AD 1972, The Abominable Dr Phibes and Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter.

Her most well-known role  - as a James Bond girl - came in 1977 when she played the deadly Naomi in The Spy Who Loved Me opposite Roger Moore.

Caroline was recently in Swindon to give the BBC's local Children in Need fund-raising efforts a boost and meet fans and sign autographs.

BBC Wiltshire's Danel Garrett - himself a Hammer Horror and James Bond aficiando  - spoke to Caroline about her varied career.
