Report: Show Two
In the second show of the series, Graham once more introduced the eight acts asking the question: When Will I Be Famous?
First we had a Big Top vs a Big tap showdown, with the Faltynys taking on Camut band. Dave wasn't impressed with the Faltynys, "For me it's circus rather than variety. I feel like I've seen it a hundred times or more". "I was thrilled to see the tap act.. but the Faltynys are fantastic," said Chuck.
The armchair judges agreed, with 67 per cent voting to put the Faltyny's through to the final.
The next showdown was a musical one with Tony Henry taking on Beardy Man. Chuck didn't like it, saying, "Beardy Man you should take a shave and get out, change your name and get out of the business... Tony you're great and a terrific singer." With 71 per cent of the vote, Beardy Man won over the armchair judges.
In showdown three one hoop act took on another, with the Crazy Dunkers battling Anton Monastrysky. It's sports variety and it's spectacular but there's very little interest in basketball over here," Max pointed out about the Dunkers, He preferred Anton, "He's incredibly talented in terms of what he does with those rings." The armchair judges agreed, with 64 per cent putting Anton through
In the final showdown, the winners of show one, Tina and Chandi, took on the Skating Aratas. Your act has improved from last week, but it's still a parlour trick, as far as I'm concerned," said Chuck about Tina and Chandi. "This one of the most dangerous and terrific acts I've ever seen," he said about the Skating Aratas. 63 per cent of the armchair judges agreed and put the Aratas through.
Our four top acts of the evening then came back to face a public phone vote. The votes frozen, it was announced that Beardy Man would face the Skating Aratas in the head-to-head. Once both acts had performed once more, the time had come for Graham to announce the winner and the Skating Aratas walked away with the £10,000 prize.
