A Guide To On-line Sharing

Social networks and groups

Social networks are extremely popular. There's a lot of talk about Myspace or Facebook, it basically means having your own personal page on the Internet.

To become a member of an online social network you first need to sign up for your own page. Your email address and name is usually enough, you can offer more information if you want to but there is no obligation. You don't have to share anything with people you don’t know - if you only want to share things with your family and friends then that’s fine.

Once you have your profile page it's a simple process to click and add friends. You're then part of an online social network where you can share photos, check messages, chat to your friends and more.
