How did you learn about the internet and did you find it easy?
I hated my laptop when I first got it. I thought it was the worst investment I ever made for £800.
I even tried to take it back, I was just thinking of all the shoes I could have bought instead! It took me a whole year to fall in like with it.
I've actually got a computer GCSE, but it means nothing! I suppose that's where I learnt about the internet, but that was a long time ago.
I've got an eight year old daughter who is fantastic on the internet. She's been using it since she was three at nursery.
Even my mother is better than me, she learnt all about it because she works at a library.
Did you find it easy?
Yeah, I found it very easy, it's just when you're on your own with it.
All the books they give you are all so thick. Then my boyfriend pointed out that I didn't even need one because it's in German. They just make it scary unnecessarily.
What are your main activities online?
My biggest thing that I use it for is looking for holidays, I love doing that. I have never shopped on the internet because I feel I shop enough.
I browse for holidays, and look for hotels. I regularly go to easyJet, Ryanair, Expedia and opodo.
I wish I was braver. I recently had an interview for a part as a power psychologist, but I couldn't face trying to search on the web for more information. But now I wish I could.
I recently looked up Eurostar, because I wanted to go to Paris by train.
I'm falling in love with Italy at the moment and visited the Alitalia site recently as well. So I feel quite professional about this and very confident.
When it come to hotels for my holidays, I find the sites very confusing.
So what I normally do is look at the Rough Guide books, and then look the individual hotel up on the net. I find the hotel sites just bombard you with too much.
I've also been looking at the Royal Opera House as I want to take my daughter to a ballet. I haven't been since it's been refurbished. I also like looking at theatre stuff.
Do you ever use the internet for news and e-mail?
If I get a chance I look at the Mirror and the Independent.
I use Wanadoo for e-mail. It's quite cool because when I started I wouldn't answer any e-mails and people would call me up. But now I'm really into it.
What are your favourite sites?
I am a property freak! I love looking at them at sites like Winkworths. I'm constantly looking at properties. As I'm always keeping an eye out in my local area.
If you had a friend logging on for the first time where would you suggest they visit?
I would say Google but that can be a bit intimidating unless you know exactly where you want to look at.
I'd say the BBC has got a lovely website, very clear and very easy to understand.
Do you ever use the internet with your daughter?
Yeah, we visit miniclip.com, bonus.com, which are some of her favourite sites.
What have you been up to?
I've been doing lots of press for Cutting It.
I've done a couple of short films 'No Deposit no Return' which is about a girl who breaks into a sperm bank trying to have a baby.
The other film is called 'Love bites', and it's all about speeddating.
I think they're both going to be at Edinburgh this year as a part of the film festival. Then hopefully they'll go on. Both films have been spotted by the Film Council.
They're completely different roles from Sydney which is nice. I used to play very serious roles, before her, but I suppose everyone now thinks that's all I can do.
So with the films people get to see me in a different light. I do love playing Sydney nd I love Cutting It, but I need to do other stuff.
How would you feel about looking for love online? Is it something you would do?
No, I just use the internet for holidays and stuff like that.
