How did you learn about the internet and did you find it easy?
I guess originally it was from adverts on TV.
When I moved to Bristol for work, my flat-mate Victoria taught me all about the internet and how to use it, which was fab, it opened up a whole new world.
She showed me how to use Google, and I learnt everything from there. Using Google was really easy! And you don't have to even spell the word correctly, it even does that!
What are your main activities online?
I would definitely say e-mailing was one of my big things online. I use Hotmail which is great. I've also recently learned how to use MSN Messenger, which is a fantastic way of having a chat with your mates.
What are your favourite sites for online shopping?
My favourite site is Google - but As Seen On Screen is also brilliant. I bought something from it last week.
Celebfashion is also great for buying stuff you've seen on celebrities. I also love looking at Vogue for a bit of fantasy fashion. Well, a girl can dream!
I like to travel, and the internet is great for finding bargains.
The Trainline is really handy for booking tickets, especially when I'm travelling backwards and forwards for work. You can also book tickets for trains abroad, which is fab.
Travelocity is great for flights. If you're looking for a flight, you can type in where you want to go and how much you want to spend and they e-mail you when they find the perfect deal.
I have also used Deckchair and Travelbag, which are also all great sites to find bargain holidays and flights.
What's your favourite website?
I am a die hard Google fan, it's such a great place to start, and you can pretty much cover everything in the one place.
However, I recently found this cute little site called Daily Candy, where you can catch up on fashion, travel arts and culture, Stateside.
Do you ever use the web to read the news?
I'm like most people I suppose, if and when I get the time to do this I would probably visit BBC News first of all. With a bit more time on my hands I would probably have a look at Sky and ITN as well.
If you had a friend logging on for the first time, which site should they begin with?
Google! I would tell them to play 'google whacking'. This is where you put two words into the search and you have to try to bring up only one result. The first time I played it I did it, which was very exciting.
I would also suggest that they look at the Casualty site to keep up with all the latest news and gossip.
Have you ever typed your name into a search engine?
Yes! It's your natural curiosity, isn't it? You also want to check that there isn't any really dodgy stuff on there as well.
How has working on Casualty changed your life?
It's great! You get lots of perks. I have found that since I started playing Bex, people are a lot nicer to me. It's a bit strange because I still don't consider myself to be any better than anyone else.
Have you got plans to do more TV work?
Yes, definitely. It's just looking for the right thing. At the moment I'm really happy working on Casualty, Bex is a great character and I'm having a lot of fun playing her.
It would be fun to do a film, but at the moment I'm concentrating on my television career.
You've got a broad range of experience, from drama to comedy. What would you like to do next?
I'm aiming for a one-off drama, which would be a great opportunity to get my teeth into a really meaty part. That would be fantastic.
I am passionate about television so any opportunity to spread my wings and experience new things would be great.
