How did you learn to use the internet, did you find it easy?

Well, to be honest I didn't really learn how to use it until recently. One of the song writers I work with showed me the ropes. I'm not really a computer person, not very computer literate I suppose you could say.

I never learned about computers at school, and then when I left I was pretty much straight into S Club. So I never really had the time that other people my age would have had. I think I've picked up what I do know quite easily.

I've got a laptop at home, so I suppose if I took it out and about with me a bit more I might become and expert!

Do you use the internet for work?

I mainly use it to pick up e-mails. It's pretty useful when you're traveling and trying to work on the go. I can send lyrics and music backwards and forwards, tweaking them until I'm happy.

When you go online what would you say your main activities are?

Checking out holidays is one of my main things and a bit of shopping now and again. I haven't got around to booking a holiday on the web as yet, but it's just a matter of time.

I like using Thomson Holidays, so I have a quick look at their site to see what's on offer, then I give them a call to book it.

Once I've booked, I like to research the places I'm going to. The sites I've used so far are Fodors, Rough Guide and Lonely Planet. They all give you a good insight into what a country is like and what you can expect when you get there.

When I get my iPod back, (I left it when I was on Richard and Judy) I'll get into iTunes. I've had a look and can't wait to get started. So far I've worked out how to download my CDs, but I haven't advanced to downloading music from the internet yet.

What do you think about people looking for love online, is it something that you would ever consider?

Hell no! I don't think it's a very safe thing to do. I don't think you really know who you're going to meet. I think if you're going to get together with someone you need to meet the person face to face.

If I had a friend thinking of doing it, I would probably advise them not to, but people have to try things for themselves.

Which site do you visit regularly?

I know this sounds cheeky, but I'm being honest, I visit the Jo website everyday as I'm always responding to fans' questions on the message board and updating where I'm going to be appearing live.

Do you ever use the internet for shopping?

I like to keep an eye on what's out there and I suppose the internet is great for that, especially when I'm on the road traveling around.

My favourites are Firetrap, Diesel, Karen Millen and Topshop. Though I haven't bought anything online as yet.

If you had a friend using the internet for the first time which site would you recommend they visited?

Apart from my own site of course, I think handbag.com site is pretty cool, as you get a bit of everything in the one place.

What have you been up to since we last saw you in S Club?

I basically took a year off and did absolutely nothing. I spent a lot time with my family and caught up with all the things I hadn't been able to do when I was in the band.

For the past year, I've been working really hard on the album. In the last few months I've been busy promoting the new single and album, doing lots of personal appearances at universities and summer road shows and doing lots of photo-shoots.

It's been exhausting, but great fun. It's definitely been different out on my own, it's taken a bit of adjustment, but I've seen it as a new challenge.

Tell me about the album.

I co-wrote four of the tracks myself, which was cool.

The style of the album is quite varied really, there's a little bit of everything in there - mainly so I could experiment with different styles of music.

There's some country, Motown, ballads and acoustic songs. Hopefully there's something for everyone. It's still pop to a certain degree, but it's just mature.

My question for Bruce is...

How do I share music?
