How did you learn about the internet and did you find it easy?
I was really lucky and went to a technology college, so using the internet is like second nature to me.
It's brilliant, I love using it for absolutely everything.
What are your main activities online?
At the moment I am trying to buy a house so I'm finding the internet invaluable.
It cuts out on the time taken having to go to see each property, instead I just get the details forwarded to me by e-mail. It just saves so much time.
I've used a few sites such as Your-Move, and the UK Property Shop, just because they cover such a wide area.
Like most women I love to shop. So if I have a bit of time I love to log on and shop out!
I love shoes, they are definitely my weakness, so I visit sites like Gucci, Gina and Jimmy Choo.
It's great because you don't always have to buy from the sites, they can just give you great ideas, which you can then follow up on the high street.
I do love designer gear, but Topshop and River Island have got some great copies.
Have you ever used the internet for your work?
I like to keep my fans up to date with what I'm doing, so I regularly log on to update my diary on my site.
I use AOL for e-mailing, which I do on a regular basis as I'm always e-mailing my manager with ideas and information.
Do you ever use the internet to read the news? If so which sites?
I have to confess I'm not a big news reader, but when I get the chance I log on to the BBC News website, because it's just so simple and easy to use.
If I haven't had the time to get out, or if I'm away from home, I'll log on and have a look at the tabloids like The Sun and The Daily Mirror, just to see what's happening at home.
What's your favourite website?
I want to say my own, but that would be biased.
I actually really love this site called Beautiful Things. It's a great site for presents and dinky little treats for yourself. If I'm in the mood for a bit of a splurge then Net-A-Porter is fab. There I go, shopping again!
If you had a friend logging on for the first time, which site would you recommend they visited?
I always think Google is a great place to start, but it can be a bit daunting if you don't know what you're doing.
That's why I think the BBC site is just the best, because if you're a beginner and you don't really know what you're looking for, the BBC site is a great starting place.
Lastminute is a cool site as well, because you can do everything from book a holiday to hire a DVD.
You're definitely the woman of the moment, how does that feel?
The response to my comeback has just been amazing, I couldn't have dreamt of a better response, it feels amazing.
Things have just taken off. I have had such an amazing year, it's been hard work but I've enjoyed it. Now I'm just hoping that I can keep it up, and that next year will be equally as successful.
What's the best thing about being back in the limelight? And the worst?
I'm loving being back in the spotlight, and performing in front of my fans.
Being nominated for the Mercury music prize was such a shock. I feel really blessed to be nominated amongst such talented artists.
The only down side to all of this has been that I have to spend more time away from my daughter.
What have you got planned for the future?
I've got a new single which is coming out in November. Until then I'm going to keep on promoting my album in the UK and Europe.
I've also started writing my third album which is really exciting.
Moving away from singing, I have recently signed a modelling contract with ICM Models. I'm not thinking of leaving my music behind, it's just that the modelling gives me an opportunity to try out new things.
Have you ever put your name into a search engine?
No, I'm too scared as to what might pop up.
Have you ever taken part in a webchat?
Yeah, I did one a while ago for The Sun, it was really great fun.
