When and how did you learn to use the internet?

I would say it was at school. I have to say computers aren't my favourite thing.

I'm not a technophobe I just think there are better ways to communicate and better ways to spend your time.

Saying that, the internet is pretty easy to use I picked it up really quickly. I had a Blackberry once and killed it within a week, so the e-mail thing is a no no.

What would you say are your main activities online?

I would definitely say shopping. I've just bought a new house and I'm in the process of furnishing it.

Looking on the internet is a really easy way to see what's out there without having to tromp around shops.

One site I've been looking recently is Lombok they do amazing Thai style furniture.

Laura Ashley is always worth a look as well they're not as frumpy as you might think. Next Home isn't bad either.

I like printing stuff off and gathering it all together so I can add it to my mood board.

Do you use the internet for any other kinds of shopping?

Well I do like to look at ASOS (as seen on screen). It's a great site that has copies of all the designer stuff that the celebs are wearing. It's great for inspiring a few ideas.

I also used the internet when I was looking for my new house in Cardiff, contrary to popular belief I'm not moving down to London. Cardiff is my home and it always will be.

Anyway, Somewhere To GO was a good site which has listings of all the estate agents in the areas I was looking in.

Gavin has an iPod and I go on the computer with him to look through iTunes. I find tunes that I like and want to download.

He did give me his iPod for a bit but I think I broke it. As you can tell I'm not great with gadgets, they just don't seem to like me.

What would you say is your favourite site?

I think Google is great, when I was trying to find specialist items for the house it was invaluable. I was looking for oversized rugs and it came up with loads of sites.

I also wanted to find some nice designer glassware. It just has everything within a few clicks, when you're like me and you don't want to have to put major effort in, Google is the perfect way to cut out some leg work.

Would you ever use the internet for the news?

No, not me really. I would probably just watch the news on TV. Maybe if I was away and something big happened I'd take a look at the BBC site.

If you had a friend using the internet for the first time which site would you suggest they use?

If I had a friend logging on for the first time I would say Google is a winner.

Recently I was desperate for a pair of red shoes and I had looked everywhere. I put red shoes into Google and bingo! What more could you ask for?

Do you have any input into your website?

I mainly get involved when there are web chats and that kind of thing, or if I need to add some diary information or news. I'm not an avid checker of the message board though, sorry!

2005 was a great year for you well done, what's next?

Thanks for your support. Well I'm planning to do a few gigs to see how it goes, see whether I enjoy it and whether it sells well.

I'm not going to take myself out there flogging myself if people aren't into it and I'm not having any fun. So I'll probably do a few test runs in my most popular areas.

As for more writing, I'm not really sure. I'm pretty laid back. If I feel like it I'll make a trip up to London and work with some songwriters or maybe I'll work with some Cardiff songwriters.

If you could do a collaboration with anyone who would it be?

Oh, Will Young. I did a duet with him at my mum's pub, he came down before the Royal Variety Performance we were both appeared in and we had a real laugh. He's got a brilliant voice and he's a really lovely guy.

My question for Bruce is...

What is MP3?
