When and how did you learn to use the internet?
I have always been technically minded. I remember at school we had computers but they were the old style huge things that looked like bricks, they were pretty useless if you didn't know how to do the whole code thing.
I've had a laptop for ages, so I think through that I just fell into using the internet, finding my way around on my own and pretty much taught myself how to use it
What would you say your main activity is online?
My major form of communication is via e-mail, it's my right arm, I use it for everything - talking to my agent, talking to the tv company you name it! I use gmail for my e-mail.
Do you use the internet for work?
I would say that's my main reason for using the internet, I'm so busy working that I rarely get the chance just to sit and surf.
For my work I use the internet as a major research tool.
Lots of the work I do is very visual, for example styling for a music video or a fashion shoot.
When a job like that comes through I get a mood board together with images representing the look they're aiming for, and then I'll take it from there.
I utilise the many thousands of images available through things like google images, getty images.
Just so that I'm au fait with what's happening now. I also keep an eye on current trends on sites like Vogue, In-Style, Handbag.com and W magazine.
Have you got a website of your own?
Not a the moment, currently people can access me through my myspace site, although it's all getting too busy so I'm going to get someone in to help run it, as I'm constantly replying to people's enquiries and stuff.
It's especially great when the show is on and I can answer people's queries relating to things we've covered.
I'm in the process of setting up my own personal website, I'm currently working with a designer to create it.
I'm hoping that it will be a more centralised forum where I can answer say a set amount of questions per month from fans so keep a look out its going to be great!
Which site would you say you visited the most?
I know it's cliché, but I have to say I'm always on Google somewhere or another. However Vogue is always good for whiling away the time.
Do you use the internet for shopping, booking holidays etc?
No I've not really got into online shopping, I suppose it's because I get access to clothes first hand through my job so I don't really need to.
I do manage my finances online with Natwest it's so handy because I'm working so much of the time I would never have time to physically go into a bank.
Apart from that I'm a huge iTunes fan, in fact I've had to wean myself off my iTunes habit, I think I spent about £150 one month which is a bit extreme.
I travel loads for work so I'm always looking for decent flight deals on Opodo and lastminute.com.
What's you favourite site?
Just because it can be so inspirational I would say Getty Images.
If you had a friend logging on for the first time which site would you recommend they visited?
Mmm... that's a tough one, it would really depend what they're into, if they were my friend then I'm sure they would be into fashion, so I would say Vogue for a little touch of glamour. If they needed a pep up they could always visit the How to look good naked site.
So Gok has life just been crazy for you these last few months?
I'm having the time of my life it's brilliant.
I'm not just a tv presenter I also run my own business as a stylist as well, so when I'm not filming I'm styling so it's non stop then add to that all the interviews and stuff, it's just crazy, but I'm loving it! I need more hours in the day.
Are you as approachable as you seem on tv?
Yes I am, it's not an act I couldn't get those women to do what they do if I was fake with them it just wouldn't work, so people are surprised when they meet me that I'm just like I am on the tv.
It's weird because people expect me to be a celebrity now, but I'm not, people know who I am but I'm not pursuing a celebrity lifestyle.
What can we expect in the future?
We've got another show coming out this year, which should be on screen around the end of October.
I've been approached to do a few other tv bits and pieces, but you'll have to wait and see.
