The magazine that is the bible of the fashion world 'Vogue' has a lively website that some find is more accessible than the magazine itself, with its daunting weight of pages.

The British Vogue site is where to find trends for the coming season with reviews of catwalk and other fashion shows with lots of pics as well as lots of other news and snippets.

At the timing of writing, the colour to be seen in is apparently plum, and the latest styles range from the sensible (chunky knits) to the more extreme (seventies jumpsuits, modern gothic).

But no doubt by the time you read this, this intelligence will be hopelessly out of date.

The site also includes profiles of all the leading designers, such as Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney.

As most of their clothes are out of most people's price range, instead of buying you can look at the celebrity gallery to see what the rich and famous look like wearing the outfits.
