Weather Statistics - October 1998

A mostly wet and windy month, but mild after the cold start to the month. The third week was notable for it's gales.

Temperature 10.8C 0.2C above average
Sunshine 3.19hrs per day 104% of average

This has been the wettest October since 1987 and the dullest since 1992.
