Weather Statistics - November 1999

November was mainly dry and mild for the first two weeks. There was a cold spell in third week, with some wintry and thundery showers. The last week of the month was more disturbed with gales and heavy rain in places, although still generally mild.

Sunshine 2.67 hrs per day (mean total 77 hrs) 119% of average

This has been the driest November since 1990 (69mm)
