Weather Statistics - May 2000

May 2000 was a wet month with temperatures and sunshine near normal. There was a very warm first half to the month but colder after. A dry start then frequest outbreaks of rain and thunderstorms.

Temperature 12.1C 0.9C above average
Sunshine 6.39 hrs per day 106% of the average

This has been the wettest May since 1983.
