Mean temperatures ranging from close to average across part of Kent and East Anglia, to well above average across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Rainfall ranging from around 60 % of average across much of Wales, to over 150 % of average across Aberdeenshire.

Sunshine well below average across Northern Ireland and NW Scotland, but above average across the majority of England.

Wiggonholt (Sussex) recorded a temperature of 18.8 °C on 1st. Newton Rigg (Cumbria) recorded a temperature of -7.4 °C on 12th. Sennybridge (Powys) recorded 8 cm of snowfall on the 19th.

Generally more anticyclonic than a 'normal' November but with a couple of notable unsettled periods either side of mid-month.

An unsettled spell of weather, with temperatures well above average and sunshine below average.

It was a largely quiet November at first with high pressure over or near Wales during the first two weeks. However, later in the month it slowly became more unsettled bringing some locally heavy rain at times.
