Headline:
Very cold and icy. Wintry showers in west.

This Evening and Tonight:
Most of Wales will have a dry night with spells of clear skies. However, wintry showers will affect mainly western parts at times overnight. Very cold with widespread ice and locally severe frost forming.

Thursday:
Wintry showers in western parts easing through the day. Otherwise dry with sunny spells but feeling bitterly cold with temperatures failing to rise above zero away from the coast.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Cold and mostly dry on Friday and Saturday with some sunny spells. Turning cloudier and windier on Sunday with spells of snow which may be heavy at times.
