Quite a cold North to Northeasterly wind through today. The wind
brought a good deal of cloud and some showers down the East of
England from Yorkshire southwards and North of Scotland. During the
day the cloud build more inland and there were a few light showers
about, though these very isolated. Over Scotland the showers largely
petered out during the evening, but continued to run down East
Yorkshire through Lincolnshire and into East Anglia and Kent
throughout. The morning started sunny with a frost away from the East
and the temperatures UK wide remained on the cool side throughout,
with frost returning during the evening as the cloud started to break
and the wind fell light.
