Naomi Davis took this shot of a flooded square in the centre of Venice on Sunday.

A man with a small child on his back and pusing a pram, wades through ankle high water in a flooded street.

This photo was also taken by Naomi Davis, who along with her family ventured through the flooded streets of Venice to catch their flight back to New York.

A night scene where a man stands outside a shop front with his hands on hips, surveying the water flowing down the street. The man is standing on a step and the water is up to his ankles.

Fields and trees are covered in a hazy mist. The sunshine is low and bathes the whole picture in a yellow and orange glow.

Tom Forth captured this misty scene in Kirkby Malzeard, North Yorkshire, at the end of last month.

Large grey and white clouds swoop across and down on to hills. The sky behind is clear and blue.
