Gallery: Warmest day of the year so far

Parts of the UK had the hottest day of the year so far on Sunday 9 April, with temperatures hitting 25.5C in Cambridge. Many areas in England and Wales reached at least 20C.

Of course our Weather Watchers were out and about snapping photos of the glorious weather. Here's a selection.
