BBC Weather app launched for tablets
As most of us try to dodge the worst of any winter weather it's a good time to remind you of all the information you can get from our team at BBC Weather.
Of course we will be bringing you the latest forecasts throughout the season on the BBC's radio and TV channels.
However, if you are out and about it might be good for you to think about using the BBC Weather app.
We've done some extra work and our app is now fully able to support tablets - including the iPad, Android tablets and Kindle devices.
Since launching the app over six months ago, we have seen more than four million people download it and we have received many positive comments about its style and functionality.
Please keep letting us know what you think - we will continue to make regular improvements to the app.
Most recently, we have introduced the ability to rotate your tablet device to view the app in landscape.
In time for the winter months, we also link the apps to the Met Office National UK Weather warnings, as well as new weather ambience backgrounds, to better reflect the conditions at the time of day.
Finally, the latest app update allows you to share the forecast with friends via your social networks.
