Cullercoats
A weak ridge of high pressure building across the British Isles on
Tuesday evening will decline on Wednesday as a new deepening Atlantic
low moves to the west of Rockall, with low pressure troughs moving
across the British Isles during Thursday. Another new rapidly
deepening low is expected to move into Sole and Shannon later on
Friday. Strong south to southeast winds developing in all areas later
on Wednesday and during Thursday with gales or severe gales likely at
times in all areas during Thursday and Friday. Winds also veering
southwesterly at times south of 57 degrees north later on Thursday
and during Friday
Niton
A weak ridge of high pressure building across the British Isles on
Tuesday evening will decline on Wednesday as a new deepening Atlantic
low moves to the west of Rockall, with low pressure troughs moving
across the British Isles during Thursday. Another new rapidly
deepening low is expected to move into Sole and Shannon later on
Friday. Strong south to southwest winds developing in all areas
during Wednesday with gales or severe gales likely at times in all
areas during Thursday and Friday. Winds also veering westerly at
times in all areas during Thursday and Friday
Portpatrick
A weak ridge of high pressure building across the British Isles on
Tuesday evening will decline on Wednesday as a new deepening Atlantic
low moves to the west of Rockall, with low pressure troughs moving
across the British Isles during Thursday. Another new rapidly
deepening low is expected to move into Sole and Shannon later on
Friday. Strong southwest winds in Bailey, Faeroes and south-east
Iceland on Tuesday evening, moderating early on Wednesday. Strong
south to southeast winds developing in all areas during Wednesday and
continuing through Thursday and Friday with gales or severe gales
likely at times in all areas. Winds veering west to southwest at
times south of 55 degrees north on Thursday and Friday
