These come from the Met Office’s Marine Automatic Weather Station (MAWS) Network which covers the Western North Atlantic, North Sea and Bay of Biscay. Observations are made hourly 24 hours a day although we currently receive three hourly observations only for 11 Marine Buoys, 4 Island Stations and 4 Light Vessels. Data may be affected by buoy outages or other and some fields are only valid for manned observations as opposed to automatic ones. We show the last 24 hours data for each buoy.
