Dr Fagbemi was born in Nigeria and worked there and in Kent before moving to Sunderland. He's the university's co-ordinator of chaplaincy services and Anglican Chaplain.

A happy and healthy year plus a job for my wife.

What's the best thing about your job?

Meeting people and walking alongside them in their spiritual and life's journeys. Being able to hold others in my thoughts and prayers.

What's the worst thing about your job?

Not being able to solve all problems, however much I love to.

What makes you angry?

When the right questions are not answered and people suffer in spite of good structures.

What do you love/hate about where you live?

Love the people around and the house but do not like the weather, especially when it is cold.

Outgoing and friendly, but cautious.

What couldn't you live without?

The Bible.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A political scientist or businessman.

What do you think about your family?

Great family.

What was your first job?

Church worker/priest.

What keeps you awake at night?

Nothing.

What's your proudest achievement?

Gaining a PhD and publishing my dissertation.

Where do you go when you want to think/be alone?

A church or to meet a personal spiritual director.

What are your ambitions?

To have a charity to help people in need in Africa.
