Dorothy is a project manager for the mental health charity, Mind. In 1998 she donated one of her kidneys to her brother, Brian.

What's the best thing about your job?

Working with a great team of people and supporting individuals who seek our help.

What's the worst thing about your job?

Fundraising and constantly searching for grants to sustain projects.

What do you love/hate about where you live?

Great neighbours. Very accessible for everything. No hates.

Describe yourself in three words.

Committed, helpful and hardworking.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Teacher. But having quite some time out of school, due to personal circumstances, I didn't achieve good grades. A job opportunity came about and I accepted it.

What do you think about your family?

Close, caring and always there for each other.

What was your first job?

Junior clerk with a steel fabrication company.

What keeps you awake at night?

Work issues.

What are your bad habits?

Biting my nails.

If you ruled the world what would you change?

Giving people an opportunity of a good quality of life.
