I think my warranty is unfair

There are regulations in place to protect consumers against unfair terms in contracts with sellers.

'Unfair terms' are those that diminish your rights under law. Regardless of what the contract says, traders are obliged to deal fairly and openly. You aren't legally bound by any unfair terms in a contract.

Check with Consumer Direct if you think your contract has unfair terms.

The Office of Fair Trading has guidelines about unfair terms.
