I paid for my package holiday and now the travel company have gone out of business

If the tour operator goes bust before you go or while you are on holiday, ATOLmay get a full refund. Every tour operator is required to have this Air Travel Organiser's Licence.

ATOL is a bond scheme that protects travellers if their travel company goes under. If you have an ATOL receipt, you can get all of your money back.

Almost all flights and holidays sold by travel agencies are covered by ATOL.

If you paid by credit card then you may be able to reclaim the sums paid from the credit card company.
