Create a wildlife garden

Try these quick and simple ideas to attract more wildlife to your garden.

1.Collect up as many small logs and branches as you can. Stack them in a pile.
This will make an excellent hiding place for small animals like mice and frogs.

2. Find lots of different sized stones and place them next to the logs.
Small insects and invertebrates like beetles and woodlice will love these.

3. Rake up leaves and spread them around the logs. Add bits of bark and old rotting fruit.

This will attract birds and insects.

4. Sow wild flower seeds around your wildlife garden.
When they flower, they'll attract butterflies.

5. Let the grass grow long. This will provide great cover for small animals.
