Pembrokeshire has many unique historical features and traditions This is a portrait of the Preseli mountains in the Welsh speaking north of the county. It takes us from the sea at St David's Head, past the cathedral to Caer Meini from where the Stonehenge blue stones were taken. Along the way we hear an example of "Canu Pwnc" as the local people sing the old form of chanting worship, and we join in the celebrations for the old New Year on January 13th - still a very important date on the calendar in Pembrokeshire, where some communities hold their New Year festivities nearly two weeks after the rest of the country.
