Pembrokeshire-born footballer Simon Davies has certainly given Welsh fans something to shout about.
Born in Haverfordwest he kicked off his football career with local team Solva AFC. Aged 17 he was signed by Peterbrough United, spending five years at Spurs until he was signed by Everton in June 2005. He's a regular international for Wales - what's your verdict on him?

Bridie Morris of Solva says: "Hi Dig it's Bridie (your cousin!) Just congratulating you on how well your doing in football as I don't see you very often! Good luck in the future." Bryn welcomes Simon back to the game in January 2004: "Congratulations to Simon on his goal for Spurs last night in his first full game back after long term injury. Let's hope he can stay fit - Wales missed him badly in the play-offs against Russia." Sarah from Haverfordwest is a fan: "I think Simon Davies is the best player in Spurs and one of the best in Wales." Bryn of Haverfordwest congratulates Simon after the Finland match: "Once again Simon Davies shows his class, scoring for Wales, and giving an intelligent, hard working performance in keeping the Finns at bay. Congratulations Simon and Wales on making the play-offs, Portugal here we come!" Suzanna of Norwich is a big fan of Simon: "I think Simon Davies is a quality player and is well and truly gifted as a footballer. He will certainly be one of the best players to have come out of Wales in a long time. Good luck Simon, keep up the good work!" Nick of Loughborough can remember Simon aged seven: "I am amazed. I came looking for something on my old club Solva AFC and find Digger! He was the captain of the first team I ever played in, at the age of seven under the tutelage of Mr. Smithies. Top stuff mate, top stuff, congratulations!"
Rob of Colchester is a big fan of Simon: "He is the best player for Wales in years and will be a star for club and country for years to come." Lynne of Neath was less than impressed by the noisy gadgets used by some fans: "Great atmosphere during the game. Personally the game was spoiled by three children sitting behind me blowing trumpet gadgets. We changed our seats this game to get away from this sort of thing." Grant of Cardiff is also a big fan of Simon: "Simon's performance was of the highest class, his finish for the goal shows how far he has come in the last couple of seasons. Coming from Pembrokeshire it makes me proud to say that Pembrokeshire has two top class Welsh internationals. Surely he has a great career in front of him, and it would be nice to see him in the blue of Cardiff when we are in the premiership!" Glen from Pembroke Dock has this to say: "Simon's performance against Italy showed that he's Wales' number one attacking threat to opposition teams now. He's everything Wales fans were hoping for when we were struggling a few years ago. Calm, professional, pacey, intelligent, excellent tactical and team play awareness, good vision and quick to react. With luck and the right choices at club level (how long can Tottenham hold onto him now?) he could go on to became Wales' most capped player and possibly even record goalscorer , at this rate!"
