Amman Valley Trotting Club
Amman Valley Trotting Club (AVTC) run a small harness racing track built on the site of two reclaimed coal waste tips in the heart of the Amman Valley at Tairgwaith. Find out more about them in their site, which was nominated by Trudy Launchbury.

Gwaun Cae Gurwen Brass Band Information on the Band-y-Waun - historical and present day. Formed in 1892, it claims to be the first band in the UK to broadcast live outside of a studio in 1926. Nomination was made by Anthony Jones of Gwaun Cae Gurwen.
