Wintry showers in north and west. Mainly fine in southeast.

Today:
Sleet or snow showers developing over many northern and some western parts of Wales, especially over Gwynedd, and feeling very cold where exposed to strengthening westerly winds. Mainly fine in the south and east.

Tonight:
Sleet or snow showers will continue over many western parts, where it will also remain rather windy, too. Mostly clear and frosty in the east.

Monday:
Continuing cold with some sunshine, but also with wintry showers in places, these mainly in the north and west. Persistent frost inland.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Continuing cold. Some sleet or snow showers likely in the north and west Tuesday, otherwise mainly dry, although probably becoming more cloudy by Thursday.
