Swansea University Campus

Exit the M4 at Junction 42 (signposted Swansea A483) where the slip road will bring you onto Fabian Way.

At the first roundabout (1.1 miles) take the second exit continuing west.

Continue straight across junction with traffic lights (with Visteon factory on your right).

Continue straight across the junction with traffic lights (Swansea Docks to the left - 3.8 miles).

Go straight across the junction with traffic lights onto the bridge over the River Tawe (A4067) at the southern margin of the city centre (4.6 miles).

Pass Sainsbury (4.8 miles, on the left) and Swansea Museum. Continuing straight ahead, pass the large Tesco store on your right (5.4 miles), and the City and County of Swansea offices on your left (5.5 miles).

Continue along the coast road towards Mumbles. After the next set of traffic lights make sure you are in the outside lane of the dual carriageway as you pass St Helen's Rugby Ground (6.3 miles).

Pass through the next set of traffic lights and the university is the right at the next traffic lights.

Hendrefoilan Student Village

Leave the M4 at Junction 47 and follow the A483.

After you pass Tesco, get into the right hand lane until you reach the fourth set of traffic lights, at Fforestfach (you will see Bob Hughes Carpets on your left hand side).

Turn right here onto the A4216, following signs for SKETTY.

After about two miles you come to a pair of mini-roundabouts - go straight on at the first one and right at the second, still heading for Sketty.

Go straight on at the next mini-roundabout (passing Swansea College on your right), and straight on at the first set of traffic lights.

At the next set of traffic lights turn right.

At the junction turn left onto the Gower Road (A4118).

Carry straight on until you come to a set of traffic lights, which you should pass straight through.

You will then come to two small roundabouts.

At the first roundabout, which is just before the footbridge, carry straight on; when you have passed the first roundabout get into the right hand lane and turn right into Hendrefoelan Student Village (which is signposted) at the second roundabout.
