Just waiting for the canine chorus to arrive.

Some real canine characters showed up to sing 'A Song for Jack' at the National Waterfront Museum. Enjoy these pictures which captures this original performance and find out more.

Taking his inspiration from the story of a black retriever who became a local hero after saving drowning swimmers from Swansea waters, Richard Higlett created 'A Song for Jack'.

The artist auditioned and recorded the dog choir. It consisted of Edward the Bassett Hound, Ben and Buster - both Shih Tzus, Eva a German Shepherd, Angus a Jack Russell cross, Bruno a terrier and Hollywood a Bichon Frise.

Their unique concert was performed in a marquee outside the National Waterfront Museum with accompaniment from local musicians at the start of the Swansea Festival of Music and the Arts.

And for those of you who missed it - good news. It was recorded and will make up part of an exhibition which will be on show at the museum.
