I have great memories of The Leisure Centre. I loved that the cafe was nearly in the slide.

I hope that the Leisure Centre returns to its former glory like it did in the late 1970’s when it was known for being the only swimming pool with a wave making machine. Around that time it was great to visit. Prior to this I used to go to the Afan Lido but over the years since I moved away from the area its fortune has changed.
Make the leisure centre a place which will get national publicity for being the first of its kind or something like being more environmentally friendly than other leisure centres.

Please use renewable energy sources. Our environment needs help and sustainable renewable enegy is the best way forward. Solar panels on the leisure centre would look good and power the centre!

It's going to look great! But is there still time to turn it green, show the rest of Wales how to be greener. A turbine, solar heating or lower CO2?
