The Lampeter Agricultural Show 2008 will be held on 8th August at Pontfaen Fields just to the west of the town by the river Teifi. One of the best kept secrets on the show calendar with a strong livestock showing from across the region, a wide range of local arts and crafts and an entertaining show ring. There will be cattle, sheep, goats, horses & ponies, dogs, llamas and much more. For more details contact the show secretary, Gwen Davies on 01570 481152.

Hi there. We came down to Gower for the Gower show in August but the day before it was rightly cancelled due to the foot and mouth outbreak. Could you please tell me which Sunday it is being held in 2008 and we will try again next year. Thank You.

My wife & I spent the day at Brecon County show last Summer. Despite the weather being not quite so good it was well attended & there was plenty to see & do. There was a great atmosphere & it was well worth the journey. We thoroughly enjoyed the day & reccommend the Show to anyone.

A briliant local show for every one something to do at all times like cattle sheep horses dogs ferit racing. Art and crafts cookery and flower arangements.
