The dying rose
So forlorn
Blooms again
And is reborn
Winter's voice
Cold and shrill
Whispers softly
All is still
Hear the joyful
Sounds of Spring
The merry cuckoo
Joins to sing
A duet with a distant bell
As Winter speaks again
Farewell
I Dreamed Upon a Summer Breeze
I dreamed upon a Summer breeze
Dancing through the shady trees
And laughing skies of midnight blue
Whispered to the morning dew
I gazed upon a crystal sea
That softly touched the land
And showers kisses endlessly
Across the golden sand
I gazed upon a Nightingale
That sang beside the shore
She sang to me, the sweetest song
Sweeter than before
I dreamed upon a Summer breeze
Dancing through the shady trees
Love's melody, so plays along
Eternally, the sweeter song

Well written. Liked the way you used the words 'dreamed' and 'gazed' to alternate and repeat.
