In Pictures: Welsh Legends & Trehilyn
Last updated: 31 October 2006
The farmstead is much older than the 19th century house. If there were older dwellings, they've disappeared. Stephen Crunn rented the land in 1843 and his descendants still live locally. Heilyn is a character in The Mabinogion and it seems likely that there's an association.

My wife was born in North Pembs; and I have a very deep interest in restoration of old buildings so we will 'glued to the screen' for every programme - having enjoyed the first part so much.

I hope Pembrokeshire brings you as much pleasure as it has my family and I. We have holidayed (is that a word!) just outside Fishguard for as long as I can remember and it is my dream to live there one day.

Griff, a great programme, very lighthearted in content, but nice to see your interest of restoration. Hope to make a visit sometime would be even better if you were in situ. Many thanks Keith and Vivienne Marlowe.

I have just watched the November 23 programme.
Has Griff not heard of Pembrokeshire promises?

This is a beautiful place it was the birthplace of my great great grandfather levt Davies,1849, whose Father Henry Davies married Mary Crunn the daughter of Stephen Crunn in 1835. They lived and worked as Tailors for many years there. This is a focal point of our family history. Many thanks to Griff and his team.

This is wonderful. I hope it becomes a place where my husband and I can rent.
