Have just watched the whole series and found it reassuringly familiar - am delighted at how much trouble Griff and his builders have taken to use the right materials, but why, oh why does it always take so long in this country to get specialist building materials delivered? A constant gripe when you are doing up a property, with the constant proviso that even when it is delivered - it could still be wrong! A great series, and congratulations to you all. Good luck with the other buildings.

If he ever wants to commiserate on the pleasures of restoration, tell him to call in.

Hi Griff, love the series especially since I'm doing one a few miles away from you. Just watched the penultimet program and had to laugh. We call the 'nothing happening thing' a Pembrokeshire promise, you can guess why. I thought it was aimed at the non Welsh imports but I guess it's for everyone

Have watched the first three episodes and enjoyed them. Hoping this series will be broadcast over the rest of the country as I am now back in Lodon and will miss the last episodes! Regards Clive.

Love the series, but really wish Griff had bought our old family home on Strumble Head, as it would have wonderful to see this sadly neglected farm restored to the family home I loved so much.
We have often looked at progress on Trehilyn while tending the family graves. Hope the project will result in more life on Pencaer, as the place seems so empty now compared to many years ago, when every home housed a busy large family.

Caught the first two episodes whilst on holiday in Pembrokeshire and can watch the rest on digital TV. A really interesting programme - hope it will go to DVD and a book. Good luck Griff!

Good luck to Griff and I would like to counter Elen Davies in saying that a disappearing material culture can be just as damaging as a threat to its language, vital as that might be.
When the natural tendency is to pull down the old buildings in may parts of Wales, or obliterate traditional buildings with pebble dash and PVCu, this programme is a welcome reminder to what can be achieved with a bit of sensitivity.

I missed part of the first programme but saw all the second and found what I saw of both very interesting. It's nice to see that Griff is taking part in some local activities. Looking forward to hear Griff pick up some more Welsh than just noswaith dda and an accent. Two of the Welsh Learner of the year finalists live quite near - they would be an inspirational choice for him to meet. A place is so much more than just buildings and the Welsh language is so important in this area of Penfro.

It was heartening to see others experiencing the kind of trials and tribulations we have endured since purchasing our Scottish stone built farmhouse and steading buildings in 2001. We had the initial works done by builders, but have been continuing the equipping and finishing ourselves since 2003. We take heart from seeing others starting out on the same path. We have to have faith that we will finish our home eventually. Thank you for an interesting programme, particularly the water incident as we live with hill water but our problem was not as dramatic, yet.

I live near London, but last week I was holidaying in Wales, and caught the first episode of Griff Rhys Jones' Pembrokeshire Farm on BBC2 Wales. Having been a keen fan of Restoration, I would be very keen to see the remainder of this series now I have returned to London.
Are there any plans to screen this series outside of Wales?

It was wonderful to see the work being carried out on our beautiful Trehilyn. We stayed at Trehilyn during the summer for the past twenty years. My children have grown up on the farm, with Harry, Joyce and Morgan. We were devastated when the farm went up for sale, as so many memories were there,( my husband and i even honeymooned there)we totally adore the place.
We were so delighted when Griff bought it, as we knew it would be restored to its former glory. We visited while the work was in progress, and were made very welcome by Griff's family. The only complaint that ! we have got is,why is the series not being aired in england, we were so looking forward to watching the whole project step by step. Good luck Griff with future projects
