Been going since: 1981 we got into hip hop and we did our first studio demo (rippin up the rule book)in 1989,various amounts of stuff since then, but we aint going away.
Best moment so far: Playing with The Herbaliser on the same line up and stage as James Brown, one moment of many.
Describe your style of music and influences :Main influence is Hip Hop, but we like ALL kinds of good music, however we are feeling at the time is how we'll sound.always wacky, funky & original.
Have you done any recording:We have various releases, mainly since 1997, demo's and jams before that. Our latest release "Funky Fresh" has had storming reviews,we are finishing the album now, watch this space...
Song you'd most like to cover:We dont really cover songs, but being hip hop we do chorus certain famous tunes, freddy's dead, funcadelic, lord kitchener, etc.
Favourite / least favourite local venue:Even though we know a lot of the musicians in Swansea, we don't play here that much, a definite good one is 'rubiks cube @ barons/bar 5', and a new night coming up with personal friend sof the ladz is called 'Funky fresh @ escape', Swansea, starting early October, the Ladz will be doing the wonky wax showcase there early next year.
No worse place really.
