Bad Noise

Last updated: 22 May 2007

  • Name: Bad Noise
  • From: Stony Tunguska River, Russia to Carmarthen Town.
  • Band members:
    The First: brass and wind
    The Fat: gas and air
    The State: beats and hooves
The Other: vocals, monologues, passages, a fly.
  • Been going since: We didn't it was him.
  • Where they play: In the garden with the shrews, and also telepathically with each others minds. We also blew the roof off of the Riv, when we played alongside David Wrench.
  • Best moment so far: Selling one of our tapes to Andy Warhol, upstaging space ritual.
  • Style of music and influences:We are all appreciative of every tiny thing that can happen in the course of time and so, we are influenced by our very being here on mother earth. I would describe our sound as that of the insects making sweet love to factory machinery and the resultant howls of their offspring as they are birthed into an unrecptive community with a bossa nova beat.
  • Songs they cover: My Sherona by The Knack and a drum n bass Lord of the Rings theme.
  • Future plans: We are deep in meditation, preparing to attack your senses with our first album and singles before the spring, also an extended video for our song GoAtsCheese. The Other wants to go on I'm A Celebrity ... but the producers have trouble with the idea of a human/fly hybrid on live tv???
  • Any other local bands rated: Konfuse, Dead Convention.
