Tiffany researched theis factfileAfter Tiffany completed her project she received a letter from the Mayor of Meadow Lake in Canada. This gave her additional information:

"Pilot Brants parents were in the Meadow Lake area for approximately four years. Rev. Brandt was a minister for the Anglican Church, and they had a younger son David who was in Grade 11 and 12 during their time in Meadow Lake. This would have been around 1942. Their daughter Dessie nursed while in Meadow Lake. Harry apparently went to train to be a doctor. Their other daughter Alice and her husband ran a drugstore (chemists) in Alberta."

Gerard from Ireland has written with this to say about Tiffanny's work:
"Tiffany from Greenhill is to be highly commended for researching and remembering P.O. Gordon Wm Brant, R.C.A.F.

"As a resident of Cork City in Southern Ireland, I have researched as a hobby the loss of a Canadian 'Blenheim' Aircraft which crashed in the sea off Schull, Co. Cork on Oct. 23 1941 killing one of the three crew on board. The crew were based at Carew Cheriton in South West Wales with 236 Squadron R.C.A.F. and I have sent the story to an aircraft researcher based in that area. Please surf the net for Wartime Carew Cheriton. Your website is absolutely excellent."
