I am a direct descendant of the Dalton family of Pembrey. They were the estate agents for the Ashburnham family when they owned Court Pembrey in the early 1700's. A few of them lived in the upstairs rooms of Court Pembrey and conducted Sir Ashburnham's business from there. I had the pleasure of visiting Pembrey in June of 2003 and while there I viewed the graves of my ancestor, James Dalton and his wife, Joyce Vaughan, of the Pembrey Vaughan's. I took many pictures of Court Pembrey and I hope someday the money can be found to restore the old Manor House.Regards Rodney Dalton
